Diagnosing and treating pain is a highly specialized field of medicine. Board certification is an assurance of a physician’s experience, knowledge and skills, and indicates that a physician has an up-to-date understanding of procedures and treatment options. The PainCare Center doctors are qualified to treat all regions of the spine: the neck (cervical), mid-spine (thoracic), lower back (lumbar), pelvic girdle and tailbone area (sacral and coccyx). The physicians of The PainCare Center are committed to practicing quality pain medicine. Board certifications are the foundation of the high standard of care we provide for our patients. |

Dr. Martin J. Andrews, MD is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine. He is certified in Spinal Cord Stimulator Placement, Percutaneous Discectomy, Vertebroplasty, and Radiofrequency Ablation. He received his M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Marquette University. He undertook a two-year internship in General Surgery and completed a four-year residency program in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. In addition to The PainCare Center, he is a staff anesthesiologist at the Fairfield Medical Center and is past Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Fairfield Medical Center. Additionally, he volunteers for Operation Smile, a non-profit organization providing reconstructive surgery to children in developing countries throughout the world. Dr. Andrews has served as anesthesia team leader on missions to Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil and Nicaragua. | ||

Dr. Ron P. Linehan, MD is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Additionally, he holds a Subspecialty Certification in Pain Management from the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is certified in Spinal Cord Stimulator Placement, Percutaneous Discectomy, Vertebroplasty, and Radiofrequency Ablation. He received his M.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and performed his internship at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. He completed his Anesthesiology residency in Cincinnati at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and Children's Hospital Medical Center. After residency, he practiced pain management in Kentucky and Tennessee before moving to Lancaster and joining The PainCare Center. Additionally, Dr. Linehan volunteers with Operation Smile, a non-profit organization providing reconstructive surgery to children in developing countries throughout the world. |
